This Refund & Returns Policy outlines your statutory rights concerning cancellations, returns, and refunds in accordance with United Kingdom consumer protection laws, specifically the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. Statutory Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the absolute legal right to cancel your order for any reason, or no reason at all, within a specific statutory timeframe:

The cancellation period begins the moment you place your order and expires exactly 14 calendar days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by making an unequivocal statement via email to contact@moggifillier.store before the 14-day period has expired.

2. Return Procedures and Timeframe

Following your formal notification of cancellation, you must send back the goods or hand them over to our designated return facility without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which you communicated your cancellation to us.

The deadline is met if you post or dispatch the goods back to us before the 14-day period has expired.
Return Shipping Costs: Unless otherwise specified by Moggifillier, the customer must bear the direct economic cost of returning the goods. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service with appropriate insurance cover, as the goods remain your responsibility until they are safely received at our facility.

3. Condition of Goods & Diminished Value

You are legally permitted to examine the items you receive in the same manner that you would reasonably be allowed to do in a physical retail boutique or tailor shop (e.g., trying on a garment for fit and size). However:

You are solely liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling or wear beyond what is strictly necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the items.
If an item is returned damaged, altered, stained, or showing clear signs of prolonged outdoor wear, Moggifillier reserves the explicit statutory right under UK law to deduct an amount from your refund up to the full contract price to reflect the loss in commercial value.

4. Statutory Refunds

If you cancel your contract within the legal cooling-off period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of outward standard delivery.

Please note that supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us are non-refundable.
We will process the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
The refund will be executed without undue delay and no later than:
1. 14 calendar days after the day we receive the supplied goods back from you, or
2. 14 calendar days after the day you provide verifiable proof that you have sent the goods back to us, whichever is the earliest.

5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Separate from your 14-day right to cancel, your purchases are strictly protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This statute mandates that all goods sold must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and exactly as described on moggifillier.store.

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to the following legal remedies:

Within 30 Days of Delivery: You have an absolute statutory right to reject the faulty goods and receive a full, immediate refund.
Between 30 Days and 6 Months of Delivery: You are entitled to a repair or a replacement garment at our expense. If the item cannot be successfully repaired or replaced, you will then be entitled to a full refund.

If you believe your garment contains a manufacturing fault, please contact us immediately at contact@moggifillier.store with your order number, a detailed description, and photographic evidence of the issue. If the item is confirmed faulty under UK law, Moggifillier will bear all return shipping costs and issue your remedy without delay.

6. Statutory Exceptions to the Right of Return

In strict accordance with UK law, the statutory right to cancel and return does not apply to:

Goods made to your unique specifications or clearly personalised garments (such as bespoke tailoring, custom measurements, or custom-altered items).
Goods sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, if they become unsealed after you receive them (such as undergarments, socks, or swimwear).
